Our organization curates a wide variety of TED-like events throughout the year. Featuring the cutting-edge ideas of university-affiliated students, staff, faculty, or alumni, our mainstage event attracts 1,200 attendees annually. TEDxOhioStateUniversity also hosts multiple small-scale Salon events on OSU’s campus and organizes workshops and events to engage Columbus’s marginalized groups in a TED-like forum. The quality of these events speaks for itself, and it is because of this quality that TEDxOhioStateUniversity has earned such a fervent following. Thousands of fans have liked our page or given us a follow on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram since our founding in 2011. Over 3,000,000 people from around the world have viewed our talks online. OSU professor Tanya Menon, one of the speakers in our 2017 event, was showcased on the front page of TED’s website.
