Another Friday, another TEDxBlog!
COUNTDOWN
Hello readers, and welcome back. Today, I want to highlight TEDxOhioStateUniversity’s upcoming event! Recently, TED created Countdown, a global initiative to champion and accelerate solutions to the climate crisis, turning ideas into action. We will be hosting our own Countdown event in order to bring these ideas to light here at Ohio State. The event is all about learning how we can reduce our impact on climate change, and it will take place this Monday, November 8th! We will host two speakers and an activity with the aim to discuss ideas to build a better future by cutting greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030 in the race to a zero-carbon world – a world that is safer, cleaner and fairer for everyone. This event will take place in the Busch Valor Room with doors opening at 7:15 and the event starting at 7:30.
