Welcome back for the spring semester! Over the break, as a little Christmas gift, we finally announced our main event theme: Currents! We hope you all are as excited as we are for this year's main event and we cannot wait to get this semester started!
For our first event of the semester, join us tonight, January 24th at 7:00pm, for HACK(T)ED, a joint event between TEDxOhioStateUniversity and HackOHI\O. During this event, we will learn more about the exciting world of Hackathons and will feature Adit Anup as the event's speaker, who recently served as the event lead for Ohio State's 10th annual hackathon. HACK(T)ED counts as STEP credit and an audience gift will be provided to those in attendance. This event will be held at Curl Viewpoint and the doors will open at 6:50pm, we hope to see you there for this exciting event!
Later in the month, TEDxOhioStateUniversity will be partnering with USG (Undergraduate Student Government) in an event called Wayfinding! This event will include 2 speakers accompanied by 4 workshop presentations (Public Speaking, Pitch Yourself, Networking for you and your Student Organization, and Graphic Design & Smart Social Media Promotion), making for an informative and interactive event. Wayfinding will take place from 6:00-8:00pm on Tuesday, January 31st in the US Bank Conference Theater in the Ohio Union and food will be provided!
Also, we have already announced three of our main event speakers! With many more speakers to be released, keep an eye on our socials as well as our next newsletter edition for our full speaker lineup!
Keep an eye out for our early bird tickets for Currents, which will go on sale January 31st! More information on how to purchase these tickets will be released in the coming days for our main event on March 4th, 2023!
